A professor of mine once told me that the earlier cameras did not always flash. Because of privacy issues the technology was changed so cameras would flash. And people would know when their picture was being taken. Does anyone know what the difference was?

My other camera could not look at the sun because there will be a purple strike of light glaring down the screen and some other cameras see a black dot when looking at the sun but this new camera i want has videos of time lapse’s and the sun is right in the screen without messing the picture up or the camera. WHY?

I discovered an area on my digital camera called “gallery” and it was an album of every photo ever taken on my camera included photos I had deleted from my memory card. Were these deleted photos from my memory card or my camera?
My camera is a Sony DSC-N2
I am not referring to the software that came with my camera because the camera was the one on display and was actually missing the instructions, software and wrist strap when I purchased it.
